Fruitabu Queen

Talk about random!!

Last week, a marketing assistant from the Stretch Island fruit company left a comment asking me to contact her, which I did. It turns out they are sending us a large assortment of Fruitabu products, including some that are brand new and that we haven't even tried!

Apparently, several of my blog entries have put us in the category of "huge fans", which, of course, we are. Hey, as long as we're getting free Fruitabu products, they can call us whatever they want!

I've never seen Danny so proud. Well, maybe the days when he first held each of our children, he was almost as proud, but not quite. I'm telling you, this is great stuff. And this package will more than make up for the cost of the first one we ordered . . .

Dear FruitaBu Queen,
When the package comes and you have a chance to sample more products, let us know what you think! Sure beats the old fashioned roll ups we used to try to make!

OK, OK...I'm going to ask the health foods lady at our grocery store to stock Fruitabu (if she hasn't already) so we can try it. Are they really that much better than everything else? I'm partial to Apricot fruit leather from Trader Joes!

Tarah, unfortunately we don't have Trader Joes anywhere close, so i don't know how it compares to the fruit leather there, but it is pretty darn good! I like the twirls the best. and they have little packages that are like a tube and you squeeze the fruit out - they're called "splooshers" and the kids really like those.

We also like their marketing.:-)

Hey...I think I found something similar to the FruitaBu stuff you are talking about. It's at Target - Archer Farms brand. You get 6-8 of these fruit leather things for about 3.00. Is that a good price? Our family loved 'em. By the way - good job on landing some free products : ).

Charity,

Maybe you need to aim higher with all of this "power". Why not write a blog about how much you would love a BMW sports cars, or a trip to Europe or even a paid trip to Toledo. Go for it girl, who knows who else is reading your blog.
